Lockabea was conceptualized in 2015 after a tragic turn of events for a little boy who wandered away one winter night in Toronto, Canada. It was evident at that time and now, a personal safety solution was needed that exhibited exceptional personal security features and developed to be versatile for many user applications. After our product research and development and countless hours of brainstorming the perfect solution was realized as what we now call Lockabea. Lockabea to date is still the first device of its kind. Its flexibility and scalability includes, but not limited to, children and parents alike being able to communicate in emergency or non-emergency situations, access to silent active alerting systems, and real time tracking.
