It started with a problem I couldn't ignore.
Lockabea was born from real moments, the kind that stay with you.
First and foremost, as a father, my family's security has always been a priority. Like many parents, I want to know that the people I care about are safe, reachable, and able to contact help when they need it. That responsibility changes the way you look at technology. You stop asking what technology can do and start asking how it can better protect the people you love.
Years ago, my family was searching for ways to stay connected with my grandmother as she lived with dementia. We wanted to know she was safe, reachable, and okay in real time. But there wasn't a simple, reliable solution that worked across everyday life. That experience stayed with me.
Another moment came later through personal loss, which reinforced the same reality—when communication matters most, it needs to be immediate, reliable, and always within reach.
Modern smartphones are powerful, but they are not always designed around constant accessibility, awareness, and personal security. They can be forgotten, misplaced, damaged, or become a distraction during activities that require focus and attention. Looking down at a device while walking, traveling, exercising, or simply moving through everyday life can take attention away from what matters most: the world around us.

That's what led to Lockabea.
Lockabea is a new introduction and a new category of smartwatch, designed specifically for personal security. By combining independent cellular connectivity, real-time communication, location awareness, and a secure lock-and-key system, it ensures essential communication and safety features are always available when needed.
