Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how products purchased from Lockabea may be returned or refunded.

By purchasing Lockabea products, you agree to this policy.

1. Returns, Cancellations & Eligibility

We want you to feel confident ordering, especially during a pre-order when you may be waiting several weeks for delivery. Returns and cancellations are handled in two stages.

Before your order ships

You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before your order has shipped. Just contact us and we will cancel the order and refund you in full.

After your order is delivered

Once your order has shipped, our standard return policy applies. Products may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, in accordance with the conditions below, which gives you time to receive, inspect, and test your device.

To be eligible for a return, items must be returned in good condition with all included accessories and original packaging, and accompanied by valid proof of purchase. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, in which case Lockabea covers return shipping.

2. Non-Returnable Situations

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or improper handling
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Issues arising from incompatible usage environments (see Section 6)

3. Return Approval Process

To request a return, customers must:

  • Contact support within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Provide proof of purchase
  • Provide a description and evidence of the issue (photos or video may be required)

If approved, we will provide return instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

4. Refunds

If a return is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing times may vary depending on payment provider
  • Shipping fees may be non-refundable unless required by law

Refunds are not guaranteed until the returned item has been inspected.

5. Replacement Policy

If a unit is defective, or arrives damaged or incorrect, you are entitled to a free replacement or refund at no cost to you, including any return shipping. At our discretion, an eligible unit may be:

  • Repaired
  • Replaced with a new or refurbished unit
  • Refunded if replacement is not possible

6. Water Resistance & Environmental Limitations

Lockabea devices are designed with water resistance intended for everyday exposure; however, they are not fully waterproof.

Users should understand the following:

  • The device is designed to perform in light rain, sweat, and brief incidental water exposure
  • The device is not intended for prolonged submersion
  • Water resistance may degrade over time with wear and damage
  • Exposure to high-pressure water, hot water, saltwater, or chemical environments may cause damage

Examples of conditions that may cause damage include:

  • Swimming pools
  • Ocean or saltwater exposure
  • Hot tubs or saunas
  • High-pressure water jets
  • Extended submersion

Users are responsible for avoiding use in environments that exceed intended water resistance limits.

Water damage is not covered under standard returns unless explicitly determined to be a manufacturing defect.

7. Device Locking Mechanism & Wear Safety

Because Lockabea includes a lockable wristband system:

  • Damage caused by improper locking or forced removal is not considered a manufacturing defect
  • Users are responsible for ensuring proper fit and safe use
  • The device should not be used in environments where wrist-worn devices may become hazardous or obstruct removal

8. Shipping Damage

If a product arrives damaged:

  • You must report it within 30 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of packaging and product condition
  • We may issue a replacement or refund depending on the situation

9. Pre-Order Products

Pre-order items are subject to:

  • Extended fulfillment timelines
  • Manufacturing delays
  • Supply chain variability

You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships (see Section 1).

10. Fraudulent Claims

We reserve the right to deny returns or refunds in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or repeated misuse of the return process.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockabea is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, including improper use, environmental exposure, or failure to follow instructions.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
