Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms apply to users who activate or use Lockabea services that require an active paid subscription (“Service Plan”), including cellular connectivity and related features.

By activating a Service Plan, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Overview

Lockabea subscription services may include:

  • Cellular connectivity for the Lockabea device
  • Location-based services
  • Emergency alert and communication features
  • Backend data and device management services

These services are required for full functionality of the Lockabea device.

2. Subscription Requirement

Certain features of Lockabea require an active subscription.

Without an active subscription:

  • Cellular connectivity may be disabled
  • Real-time tracking features may not function
  • Emergency communication features may be limited or unavailable

3. Billing

Subscription fees are:

  • Charged on a recurring basis (monthly or annually depending on plan selection)
  • Processed automatically through the payment method on file
  • Subject to applicable taxes

Billing begins when:

  • The device is activated, or
  • The subscription is enabled, depending on the purchase structure

4. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.

By subscribing, you authorize Lockabea to:

  • Charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Continue billing until you cancel

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

After cancellation:

  • Service remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time unless required by law
  • Some features may stop immediately or at the end of the billing cycle

6. Suspension of Service

We may suspend or limit access to subscription services if:

  • Payment fails or is declined
  • Fraud or abuse is suspected
  • Terms of Service are violated

Service may be restored once outstanding balances are resolved.

7. Network & Third-Party Dependency

Lockabea subscription services depend on third-party infrastructure, including:

  • Mobile network carriers
  • GPS and satellite systems
  • Cloud infrastructure providers

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.

Service interruptions may occur due to:

  • Network coverage limitations
  • Carrier outages
  • Maintenance or technical failures
  • Environmental conditions

8. Changes to Pricing

Subscription pricing may change over time.

If pricing changes:

  • Users will be notified in advance where required by law
  • Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing

9. Device Dependency

Subscription services are tied to the Lockabea device.

Loss, damage, or replacement of a device may affect:

  • Service continuity
  • Activation status
  • Subscription association

10. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

Refunds may be issued:

  • If required by applicable law
  • In cases of billing errors
  • At Lockabea’s discretion in exceptional circumstances

11. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining an active payment method
  • Ensuring their account information is accurate
  • Proper use of the device and services

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Lockabea is not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party networks or providers
  • Lockabea is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from service downtime or loss of connectivity
  • Emergency or location services are not guaranteed and depend on external systems

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
